time for some kind of an update
Not much is really going on with us, just work.. work.. church callings.. and enjoying any and all time we get to spend actually together :) The last few months have just been flying by.. especially April... it was and is a blur to me all that went on in April, all I can say is thank you to my sweetie, he takes such good care of me, thank you to my mom for everything that you have done you went above and beyond for me and I just feel so lucky! You are the best!!! One of the most exciting things in the last month for us has been that we finally sold Josh's expedition.. I never thought the day would come.... but finally and thankfully it is gone!! YEAH!!!! We had to speak in Church on April 26th.. and if you know me.. and you're reading this then you probably already know the story.. long story short it was a day after my birthday and for me speaking in church (or to any large group)is pretty much like having to have a rout canal the day after your birthday without any anestesia or any pain reliever.. okay so maybe there wasn't actual physical pain.. but mentally I was knocking on deaths door... but it is done and over now and I'm just glad that it is over with.. Well.. I promise to try to be better and post more often.

not much new...
So there really isn't too much new going on with us. We did go back to the doctor for a followup visit and I am soooooo happy to report that the doctor says that all the tests show that they got it all and there isn't any cancer anywhere else, so for now we are just feeling really blessed. Other news is that I got called to be the Relief Society Visiting Teacher Leader in our wonderful small ward :) Still haven't done anything for this calling but I am interested to see what exactly I'll be doing. Josh has been called to be the ward missionary leader (which he will be wonderful at.. he should be a pro at this calling.. he's held it a number of times and had a lot of success before.) as for PJ he is doing well, he might have to have his tonsils out but we don't know when this will be happening. We were able to go down to Gunnison this last weekend which was sooo fun, but we never get enough time there, I hope someday we can spend some real quality time visiting there, PJ has so much fun with all the cousins and well we all know how much I love it there, and Josh does enjoy it too :) I can't wait to get down there again! Anyways, we love you all and miss you all so much!! XOXOXO

oh what a wonderful life....
So just an update on what has been going on in our lives. This past week Josh had surgery and those of you who know us know exactly what was done.. and I'm sure you can understand why I wouldn't go into great detail about the surgery. After the surgery the Doctor talked with me and told me that we would know by Thursday or Friday if there was cancer or not (this was on Tuesday). So Thursday comes and Josh gets the call from the Dr., turns out there was cancer but there was scar tissue from a previous injury that had somehow retarded the cancer from growing.. I know HUGE blessing. I continue to stress about it and just pray constantly that they really did get it all and that Josh will be fine and live a long long long life with me :o) It has given me the opportunity to have to completely rely on our Heavenly Father to be there for me, there have been times while we have been waiting and going through this when I really felt like I was just going to completely fall apart, but thank goodness for a wonderful Father in Heaven who is there all the time, thank goodness for my loving husband and my family who has been such a wonderful support. I know I wouldn't have made it through all this without any of you! Thank you all for your prayers and support!!
We have a follow-up appointment next Monday, they are going to do another ultra-sound and some blood work just to make sure that they got it all and that Josh is healing well. I feel so bad for him, watching him endure the pain that he is in, and seeing him carry on and continue to work and do the things that he needs to makes me just try harder and keep going. Well, we'll keep you all posted on how things turn out, and please continue to pray, I know that the prayers help! We love you!!

not much new
So there really isn't much new going on with us, just work... work.. and more work... We've pretty much got our apartment all put together and organized.. which makes me soooo happy.. If you know me, you know that I don't like things around me being chaotic and cluttered. Josh and I were able to go and have dinner at Brittney and Austin's house on Monday night. It was so good to get to see them and do something with another couple. We look forward to this coming Sunday because we are going to Dionne and Dave's for dinner, it really has been to long since we've seen everyone. Good news for us is that we have been getting PJ more and more (hopefully this becomes more permanent).. I guess we just have to wait and see on that.. I'll keep you posted on that..

Christmas!!
Pj & Daddy Christmas Morning

Our Christmas tree

Pj Opening presents

I would honestly have to say we had a good Christmas, it was very different from any Christmas I've ever had, I didn't see any of my family on Christmas day.. Josh had to work Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day (grave's 6-6) so pretty much just me and PJ. We woke PJ up when Josh got home from work Christmas morning and he was just so excited to open presents! He was even more excited that there were more presents from Santa!! It was so fun to get to watch him open his gifts and see how excited he was that he got his "Bumblbee" (transformer). He had just as much fun helping Josh & I open our gifts. Can I say I honestly think I have the sweetest husband. For Christmas we had decided that we would try and get a new dining table. Well, he surprised me with the one that I wanted on Dec. 1.. so I thought that was my Christmas and I was 100% happy with that.. but then more and more presents started appearing under the tree.. I couldn't imagine what he was getting me.. well to make a long story short, on Monday night (22nd) he told me he wanted me to open 1 present, but that if I agreed and opened it that I would have to wear it to work the next day and show everyone.. (this worried me some, but I ended up agreeing).. so he gives me this box that is kinda big, and I pick it up and it honestly ways nothing.. so many thoughts were going through my mind of what it could be.. so I proceed to open it and inside there was a journey necklace.. absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I was so shocked, I never expected anything like this... EVER!! He proceeded to say so many sweet things and before I knew it I was crying.. Needless to say, our first Christmas was very different from any other Christmas I've had but it was a fun Christmas and I truly just feel so blessed to be married to the man I'm married to, and to have the life that I have.

Josh graduated from POST
This happened clear back in August the week before we got married. I just have to say I was so proud of Josh, he received the academic award (he was completely shocked but I honestly wasn't shocked at all, he is so smart and such a dedicated hard worker). He was also chosen to speak at the graduation ceremony, he did an amazing job. I am so lucky to have a husband that even though he was really busy and stressed out during the academy he still found time to spend with me :o)
